D*mn it you piece of f**king sh*t, you worthless scum, you and you f**king attitude
Whoo, busy week man. But at least now all our projects are mostly finished
You think the world owes you. The world wronged you.
Had my Y.E.P interview today. = S
Please, you've done more harm to it rather.
Argh, lol was super nervous and i kept fidgeting. >.<
Living in your own world? Go ahead.

Miss Fong: You didn't write here on your strengths and weaknesses, could you tell us more?
Just don't make us citizens of it,
Me: Erm, weakness? Er i tend to be very not confident at times. Like get nervous easily.
we're not here for you to show your f**king attitude,
Miss Fong: are you nervous now?
go f**k yourself instead
Me: Erm, yea... I'm trying to keep calm though
do something useful would ya?

you b*tch about how everyone else s*cks
Yea, feel so good again. Itabs teacher commented well on my video. =)
and that you're so unlucky be a part of this
Although there's Timo with his superb vid making me feel all inferior.
on contrary, the unlucky ones are us, anyone that knows you, spoken to you, seen you

you're just mere dust compared to the sh*t we are
Wow man, someone seriously pissed me off
at least we have uses
In short, he has a super unbelievably horrendous attitude
unlike the lifeless parasite you are
Ha, so here I am, doing up on psychology
irony has it that people still care for you
Thinking on optimism and pessimism.
no matter your ingratitude, your smugness, your f*cking screwed up "holier than thou" mentality

you're jus a d*mn bane to people around you.
Optimism: He'll one day realize his mistakes.
friends come friends go, especially with an attitude like that
Pessimism: We'll probably have to wait 80 years more.
you believe they were there for your benefit, to make your life better
Optimism: At least he's a changed person!
you claim the world turns its back on you
Pessimism: That wont do any good if you've spent your whole life being an ass and you're about to die
you expect the world to give you its fullest
Optimism: Well things will be better afterwards!
you expect things to work in a one sided manner
Pessimism: Nah, even as a dying old foger, expect nothing less
you want a luxurious life

d*mn good-for-nothing parasite scum
Yea, that lame conversation is basically one of the arguments in my head.
you blame the world for giving you a 'lousy' family.
Never mind. I'll end this in a one word
But no, let me tell you, you are that lousy family
Bane.
just disappear, I fully assure the world's a better place without you
1. A person or thing that ruins or spoil. (Yup, that's you.)
just go live it some place, where thr's no civilzation for you to trample on.
2. A deadly poison. (You're one to society)
words cannot portray how bad a sh*t you are
3. death; destruction; ruin (definitely fits you)
for that, I can only leave it for society to present its case against you.
4. Obsolete. that which causes death or destroys life (need i say more?)
however, i look towards your existence to cease with much reluctance though

but in all harshness, be gone,
Lol, people, sorry for the crazy ranting. Just need some outlet to vent this ever growing of disgust and contempt
bro.

Wheeeee! Just got back from the 10km run. Muahaha , I've beat my previous timing for all my training. 10.4km in 54 mins =)

There's also this cool timing chip which you stick/tie unto your shoe which will become a slight problem later on in the run.

I paced someone throughout the run. lol i was in front for 7km. Slipstream effect for the other fella. =( I no gas le she still can run off...

I'm quite busy so I'll jus give a quick simple itinerary.

ITINERARY

[ Before the Race ]
Joined the wrong group for the run. Blindly followed the crowd to the section for 15km. Thank God my mom spotted me and called out to me. Duh...

[ 1km - 6km ]
Woohoo! found someone to pace with. Went at good pace at 5mins/km.
Overtaking plenty of people. Hundreds i tell ya.

[ 6km ]
Legs burned with every step I took.

[ 7km]
My pacing buddy overtook me, nv to be seen again.

[8km - 9km]
Omg omg I'm dying, where's the finishing line?!
Took a 3 secs break to recuperate.

[ 10 km]
"THERE! I SEE IT!!!'

[50m away from FL]
*sprints like there was no tmr*
There was this guy cheeering for me. Probably cause I was sprinting really fast.

[ 2m away from FL]
Right shoe comes off at a sharp turn due to the uneven platform.
Decides to finish that 2m then come back to pick my shoe.

[Finishing line]
*looks back* *looks down* O.O"
"OMFG, the timing chip is on my right shoe (which is left behind)"

[ 2m away from FL]
*picks up shoe and stare at 2 guys run past JUST 2 METRES AWAY FROM THE FINISHING LINE!!*

[Finishing line (again)]
Wooootss! I completed it faster than my training!
Guy 1: Are you ok? Do you need medication assistance?
Me: No...
Guy 1: Do you need to rest?
Me: What do ya think?

[Goodie bag area]
*Breathes heavily*
Guy 2: You feeling ok?
Me: Yup, I'm alright
*grabs goodie bag*

[Before Drinks corner]
Guy 3: Are you alright?
Me: Yes... (For goodness sake, stop pestering me people, I'm jus dam tired)
*ask guy for a drink*

[Drinks corner]
*grabs 2 cans of 100 plus and chugs it down*
Guy 4: Are you ok?
Me: ...

[Resting Corner]
Super 'bu gan yuan' about my shoe flying off...
*Gulps more 100 plus*

[In the middle of nowhere]
Sat down and relaxed and calculated how much seconds i wasted in my embarrassing act. 7 secs I think. Realized that my face would look bleached-pale after the run. No wonder everybody kept asking.

[some forsaken place under the shades]
Squeeze my singlet and was awed seeing water or erm... sweat dripping down.

Hmph, so much for a cool looking ending. Sprinting after a 10km run. everybody would be like looking at me running fast. And then?! And then?! Everybody sees my shoe flying off my leg, me looking back with a "omg what shud i do? look, then running off with only a shoe, ALL JUS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE FINISHING LINE.

I cannot emphasize any further how stupid that was.

Where were you all these while?

Haven't posted for almost a week. My my, this whole week was crammed with project works. I took on the job for the poster and video, as well as and making the presentation slides for CATS

Recent happenings:

- Overslept in Bus 154.

The bus was docked at the berth le. I woke up timely to rush down before the driver left and locked me in to spend the night. He was like "Wa lao" when a guy suddenly came running down the steps as the time you least expected it. But cmon, couldn't he have went up and checked? Night buses + long trips = people in REM sleep

- Sociology vid
Haha, one of the phrase from sociology vid. "Move your blooming arse"
Blooming arse -> 屁股开花?

- Finding reality twins

Jus getting to know some of my friends better only to realized how similar we are.

-Brilliant idea

Thought of using subliminal messages in sociology video =)

LOL, CATS PRESENTATION WAS UBER PWNAGE.

Awesome maaan. I just lurve pptx. Every other one I work on and devote my hard work to turns out with awesome success. Haha, woots, I'm still fawning over my works for the slides =) The leturer said it was awesome awesome awesome.

Ok ok, enough that. Lol, presentation... When my turn came to present, I was super nervous la. OMG while talking, my legs were trembling. I kena tongue-tied as well. -_-" "Ber bur bah" (seriously...) But yea, the class laughed that off and then... my phone rang! TWICE! oh crap, that was downright humilating. But it was fun man, getting the expected "A" =)

Gaaah, shitz ima gonner. I didnt run for 4 weeks straight. And my 10km is this Sunday. omgomgomg I've deprove horribly by 20 secs per km. haiz haiz. Besides at 7km, my stomach hurt with every breathe I took. EVERY. Gotta run in that singlet again. = /

Haha, doing on personality psychology, I've been searching for slogans. Came across funny quotes, one of which I really loved.

"The nice part about being a pessimist is that you are constantly being either proven right."

Being a pessimistic myself, i found it true. HAHA. I rather get disappointed first and then happy for something good instead of the reversed. But then again, 'the nice part on being pessimistic..." Since when do pessimistic find "nice parts".

Yea that's all people =) Gotta work on my projects still.

I see the king of glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes
The whole earth shakes

I see his love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing
The people sing

[Chorus]
Hosanna
Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest

I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
With selfless faith
With selfless faith

I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees
We're on our knees

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you have loved me

Break my heart for what breaks yours
Everything I am for your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into
Eternity

Hosanna in the highest

Hosanna, Hillsongs (2008)

One of the songs during church today. A beautiful refresher from the many songs sung over the years. I love the chorus the most. Really touched me. Especially the line "Break my heart for what breaks Yours". Imagine if we felt the hurt God did every time we broke his heart, would we still continue in our willful ways?

(LOL, yay for html editing)

LOL

I haven't come to full terms of how weird I look until the recent comments. It's not a bad thing though, I'm proud of it. Having Ceylonese as my race, I certainly don't look like one, or like anything else for that matter. So basically I have all kinds of mixed genes in me. Being pretty darn unique compared to others of common ethnicity. Extraordinary fair skin, a not so common looking face, weird accent to my speaking, unique choices of words, all in all, I'm just different. Neither here nor there.

Here's some of the comments I've gotten,

"Are you cold? You look pale"

"Are you feeling ok? You look very pale"

"Why you so fair?"

"Are you local?"

"Are you PR?"

"Nar wo nee hee har?!?!"

Just to let you know, the last one wasn't made up. That's Korean for "I think you looked Korean so I'm speaking to you" when i was on an overseas trip. I know what you people might be guessing, he's just a tourist, of course he'll speak Korean to people. Uh-uh my friends. He SPOKE English at the conference (YWAM) and then asked me to introduce myself. All said in un-understandable Korean. I just stared back with a "WAAAT?" look. O.o?? Apparently I didn't realized my mouth was wide open to protest against this undiscernable foreign language, in front of a whole crowd. ('O') ok, not that bad but yea, you get it.

And hey, that wasn't the first time. If I shall expound a teenzy bit more. Its like speaking with confidence to a stranger in some language you think he might understand. A foreigner. A foreign land. That's Korean speaking to a strange person with jumbled up looks in THAILAND. Nuff said.

Hm... but generally I'm happy the way I am, specially unique (just like everyone else). Self-acceptance yaaa. =)

Love yourself for who you are people.

Supposed to go badminton with Timo and Haixin today. Timo drank a heck of beer last night. He couldnt even hear his phone ring. tsk.

Haixin is awesome man. He can hit the ball from any angle you give the ball at.

Right hand:
hold racket upside down and flip it.
hit shuttle with backhand from the back O.O (I've been trying to do that for ages)
switch to left hand and whack
many morez

Left hand:
Every other thing mentioned above...

Ok, he's like those 18 hands buddha thing or watever that thing is. The "god" with lotsa hands around it. Lol, anywhere you hit also he can return.
Yea, badminton was dam awesome today. We owned the court man woohooo! Even during singles half court. XD I was 'king' for so long. Haixin is a must hav partner. If you miss, he can still take it O.O Rmb him being able to return any ball as long as its in his "thousand palms" range?

Fun Fun Fun. Haha, awed someone today =D He said my strokes were cool haha. Yes, I'm basking in selfpraise so shoo off and dun bother me.

After badminton, dragged ourselves round NP finding for somewhr to eat. Canteen 1 (as in the first canteen we checked out) close. Canteen 2, close... Eh, I haven't eaten breakfast and was starving while being lost in NP with wobbly legs. We assumed all ulu ulu canteens would be close so we headed for Makan Place. Aircon = shiok

Haixin: Man, if Makan Place is closed I'm gonna cry

We've been dragging our dead feet around NP. Finally when we saw Makan Place, guess what? The lights were on! We hauled ourselves the final flight of stairs and saw people inside. and outside was this man pushing at the door that wouldnt open.

WHY? BECAUSE MAKAN PLACE IS CLOSING TOO!

Darren: Omg... You can go cry now.

Sheesh. Slowly crawled down to KAP. Our feets were wobbly and aching. Reach Mac only to find it crowded with hardworking students taking up the seats by studying. Had 2 upsized meals plus an extra burger.

Darren: Dude, carry me man
Haixin: Cant, I could drag you if you dun mind

Cant wait for next week's badminton. Lets own again!!! Picked up my gear for 10km run. Hmm, how do I put this... I nv worned a singlet since lower primary, and I'm feeling all weird putting on one. And I'm not used to seeing my "upper arm" (above the elbow). My shirts are normally all slightly above elbow length. lol, and my fair skin, I'm so white =P

Oh... Long arms and body + singlet = dam weird

I'm too pale. I photoshopped my skin colour! Or did I?

ARGHHHH I'm gonna die for my Sociology essay. I know I'm a goner.

So after having one whole week of my life dedicated to sociology, I now have my 3 major projects to complete in 2 weeks. 3 cheers for never ending work.

This would be the worse thing to happen ever in PCS. The psychology teacher is leaving us. She's moving on to sports council, (SSC) I forgot what was the first "S". Its such a pity man. She's like the best ever among our lecturers. Sadzzz. She's got a wonderful oppoturnity to pursue her dreams in developing the field of sports psychology in Singapore. We'll miss her. Boy oh boy, I wonder who's gonna be our replacement teacher. Later kena another crappy lecturer.

Finally, after 3 weeks I can get to climb the rock wall. Harder than I expected it to be. Mainly, my hands can hold on. Its more like my "phat" shoes cant grip on the small rocks and I keep slipping.

Omg I left my shoebag in CATS class. Super diaoz sia... I at Dover MRT then recieved a call from the lecturer asking whether any of us left a shoebag behind. O.O" "WHERE THE HELL IS MY SHOEBAG?!"

Crap sia, i shud have took a train to clementi since I was in the station already. Wait at the bus stop. Wait... Wait... Wait... OMG, when will the stupid bus arrive?? This is why I hate buses. They are so unpredictable unlike trains. And they take forever to come, and you'll be waiting aimlessly for it to come. Sianz.. ended up wasting 2 ~ 3 bucks of Ezlink money + 1 hr waiting for buses to come.

There's a YEP for HMS students. YEP -> Youth Expedition Programme. We'll be visiting 2 preschools and an orphanage in Vietnam. OMG OMG OMG. I totally wanna go and its only limited to 30 ppl only. That's an awfully small chance. And there's sure to be lots of competition from ECH. The slots available not even enough to accomodate them, how would it even be able to do for HMS.

Lastly, I gonna take a bold step of faith by going for a special course that will hopefully fix my mental block thats preventing me from being to my fullest potential. =) God bless me.

Went for Hi Club on Monday! It was quite fun, signing erm.. alphabets and numbers. Argh, my class is 10 people. 2 boys - 8 girls. 2 locals - 8 -foreigners. 2 clowns - 8 audience. 2 PCS - 8 WHO CARES.

The 2's are the same people for your info. Haha, yay, I can sign the alphabets fast-ish now. Oh, sign name... something like your name in sign language. Because normally you sign the alphabets out for names, it can get annoying/tedious/finger exercise/tiring to spell names constantly. Imagine if you had to sign a list of names of people in the class. Ya, so its just a combination for a hand sign for a certain something and your initials or whichever letter you wana sign.

Ok, so mines Fire. End result:
make your fingers in to a 'b' and 'd'.
Then shake it as you move it upwards.

Yea, weird lolz.

Moving on. DA SOCIOLOGY ESSAY!! I finished it! But I'm probably jus gonna expect to fail, or fail failing. It's horrible man. The lecturer doesnt give proper instructions on how to do it and just throws it in your face. Yea, we dun wan spoonfeeeding, but can you be at least decent enough to provide some guidelines to follow. Its like building a house without the blueprint.

ITABS! Photoshop is fun man. Here are 2 of my first artworks:

Onion head made from fruits. We were supposed to do a head only. Mine had hands and legs. = )

Even more epic...

This was supposed to be on a caterpillar in a garden surrounded with flowers and lushious grass.

As you can see, its nothing to what was mentioned. Total opposite in fact. But hey, it's nice isnt it?

As you can see, I have a trend of doing things the uncommon way. Or perhaps I just like creating evil looking stuff with PS

My 10km run is coming up on 24th May. Oh my oh my. I havnt ran for 3 weeks. I'm so gonna die. Some more I dunno why I agreed to my mother's suggestion on joining the pro runners. Dun even know if i can make it now, let alone end up last in the run. Sadz...

DIE ESSAY DIE
Saturday, May 9, 2009

I got to write up an essay of 1.2k words on Family History as well as write it in an sociological paper style. I think I'm screwed. I hav completely no idea how to implement all the themes and concepts. But here's a start:

Darren: "My uncle escape from a detention centre abt a year back, He created a big hoo-haa in Singapore. I hav lost contact with him since then. Rumours have it that he fled to Indonaesia. I also heard recently that he got caught"

Timothy Poon: u could write that and nxt thing u know ur name is shifted from our class list to a cell

Darren: Hey, I'm not done yet. "By the way, as close as it might sound, my uncle was chinese and does not go by the initials M.S"

Heh, we actually have to complete this essay when we havnt learnt much about sociology. so far we've only touch on culture, and yet we have to write on almost anything you might be able to do on Sociology. Crapz the teacher...

Now I hate sociology to the utmost core, the core of the core, centre of its core, atom of that center, nucleus of that atom. Yes, all the way down my friends.

I refuse to submit
Wednesday, May 6, 2009

Wowz, poly life really is busy. A week passes by as fast as you would pass responsibility for being the leader of a group, say a bunch of kids. No wait, actually I'll hold on to that. =) But yea, plenty of assignments to work on.

Today Sociology class was fun! Again we had to do field activity by observing people and social norms. Best part! We had to break one! K, application wise, its kinda interesting. I mean to really go do something out of the norm takes guts. We as people don't want to look abnormal or stand out negatively.

Nevertheless, we tried singing a birthday song in the middle of the Atrium. Failed. Then we tried invading people's personal space by occupying the empty seats of a table with one guy there. Failed. We didnt dare to do it lol. In the end, we resulted in walking around his table, giggling, whispering, laughing and finally sitting very near him and staring into his eyes. Obvious we got a WTHAYPDCYSIS look in return. Fyi, a "what-the-hell-are-you-people-doing-cant-you-see-i'm-studying" look is an irritated stare then holds deeper meanings such as "GET LOST" and such.

Oh and then I looked around for a guy looking towards me, then wave at him and shouted across the atrium HIII! and then he jus stared back with another WTH...SIS look. Haha, was definitely fun.

Hoho, these few days have been tiring. SOOO I'm sleeping in the trains. Nope, not while sitting down but when standing. It isn't that too difficult but there's one slight problem. My knees keep giving way. Haha, so if you were opposite me, I would look like a sleeping log that falls down vertically every now and then. Worse still if I'm standing in the middle, the part between the chairs. I cant see myself but I bet its a funny sight to behold.

ARGH, like I'm too busy to run! As well as my recent bout of flu, I havn't hit the road for about 2 and a half weeks. And my 10km run is just 2.5 weeks away. Cham cham cham, gonna die like that.

And writing essays is problematic for me. As you can see, my style of writing has yet to mature. I cant see how my psychology essay might be written in such a childish tone.

its breaking, its breaking
Sunday, May 3, 2009

Went with Tim for the badminton CCA. boy was it horribly pathetic. The was an awesome number of, to my estimation, 70 people (I've a feeling its way more) to only 5 courts. There wasn't even much to play. Having 3 pts knockout games. It was over even before you could sing the barney song finish. Ok, maybe not so fast, but it sure was pointless. 3 and a half hours of nothingness. And at the end, to my total dis/un-belief, they said something incredible. "So how did everyone find the training?" Lol, what training is there. There's hardly any "courtship", maybe around 15 minutes how's one supposed to train.

And so, being so unsatisfied with it, I feel like just quitting it, but I just bought my 70 bucks badminton shoes for the CCA. Heart pain sia.

You know when people say they hear voices in their heads? Here's my explanation.

Ha, today, something happened to me which didn't happened for quite some time. Its an amazing phenomenal air getting stuck in the ears.

When that happens, it dam irritating. anything you do can be heard. You know, take your finger and push that bumpy little thing at your ear in and then talk, you can hear yourself more right? The air thing works the same way, just louder and more sensitive.

So say I totally hear every single breathe I take loud and clear. And when I'm talking too, I hear my voice. The internal kind of voice, not your voice when you speak out loud, you actually wont know how loud you are. So I hear my voice yet couldn't hear my voice get it? No? Never mind.

Now, did I mentioned that's only the effect of one ear? I didn't? oh Yea, that's one ear only. And if you don't get where I'm hinting at, I'm saying things gets crazy once BOTH ears get air stuff in them. Oh boy, its like putting headphones and turning them to full blast.

Try say "Haiz" with a small breathe, You should only hear a tiny sound yea? Mines "HAIZ" with font size 50. If you think hearing every word you speak as cymbals clanging in your ears is deafening, wait till you start coughing. It sounds like a thunderstorm. BOOM BAM BUM. yea, splendid isn't it?

However, there's a particular solution to it. You got to blow really hard. Yeap, you heard me right, although it doesn't work all the time. I assume the air in your ears gets sucked into your brain to replace the lack of oxygen.

But now now, would you want to look like some loony huffing and puffing as though you were knocking some pig's house down to unknowing passerbys. Sure, they cant hear your raging storm or clanging cymbals but constantly blowing at nothing till you turn red coupled with a frustrated face doesn't give anyone else any understanding of your mind-filled cacophony.

And so concludes my prescription if it so happens if ears start choking on air. Knowing this, understand that the excuse of 'hearing voices' isn't true. Its just some ear bugs throwing a party. Sometimes they switch on the heater, and so the air pressure increase, enabling you to hear their microscopic conversation.

What a bummer
Friday, May 1, 2009

Ah, having holidays are wonderful. I am finally able to appreciate their worth. To take a break from all the hectic hustle bustle of life, and to keep away from my endlessly finite number of assignments.

Ha, woke up today and guess what? I found my bed wet *gasps* LOL It was because I sweated while sleeping. Some stupid side effects of my cold. Tried to finish up my last minute details for the Pebbles gathering. Smsing and email everybody, the prospects for gathering didnt feel too good, especially when I couldn't follow up on everybody for a few days due to being down with possible bacon flu.

Wa, I think I sent quite a bunch of smses to everyone to confirm the timing. Then from a nice number of 8 people, I got a perfect result of 2 people to each category, "anything also can","afternoon is good", "me luv nights better", and "didn't realize it was so far until now".
That made a 3 people available at any particular time. And so I simply called it off. I didn't think it would be of any importance to anyone anyway. Yeap, dissapointment. So here I am the whole day just facing my com and being emo.

Lolz, you know what, I joined THREE CCAs! Lol, people might call me mad, but it shouldn't be too much to handle (I hope). One's on a adhoc basis, the others are on saturday and monday. But obviously the saturday one might make me cranky. Gotta wake up 7 + in the morning just to take an hr's ride of train and then badminton.

Ooo, but get well soon. Bacon flu warning are changing like traffics lights, green, yellow, orange... sooner or later it'll be red. Oh I call it bacon cause they make me feel happier, who doesn't love bacon. Now need bring thermometer to school again, reminds me of SARS. lucky my fever subsided.
